This was another try at creating a realistic painting which contained many details. This painting won honorable mention in a local art show and is one of my favorites. It is totally original and was not based on or copied from any picture, painting or idea. The painting was mostly done using regular brushes but the sun beams were done with the airbrush. The viewer is able see a path that winds away into the forest and into the sunlit areas. The way back leads into the thick and tangly woods. Which way will you choose?
